Hide in our homes, cover our faces, stay away from others. Seriously? This is what we get in our “survival” kit?
I don’t resonate with the emotional soup of apprehension, trepidation and helplessness associated with this message. This message is so very incongruent. There is no doubt that chronic stress and fear are deleterious to the immune system. Why aren’t they talking about THIS on the news?
Despite the fact that this pause has made space for gratitude, family time and for our planet to inhale and exhale, I hope we’re all wondering what the hell just happened.
There are only a handful of possible outcomes here…infectious disease experts predict that 70% of us will be “infected” with Coronavirus. Some won’t know they’re infected, some will get mildly sick, some will get really sick and some will die. The undeniable fact here is that the only factor in how we individually react comes down to how adaptable and strong our immune systems are.
We hear that everything will be just fine once we have a vaccine. Um…correct me if I’m wrong but… do those who succumb to this virus (to any virus for that matter), do so because they have a vaccine deficiency?
This vaccine, being fast tracked may not be the golden chalice it’s marketed to be. Bill Gates, who is funding a portion of the vaccine is worried about the danger the vaccine poses (based on previous studies). He won’t distribute his vaccine until governments agree to indemnify him against all lawsuits. On Feb 4, when there were only 11 active cases in the USA, Fauci quietly pushed through regulations giving coronavirus vaccine makers full immunity from liability.
There is a massive lack of science with these methods but to suggest that this lack of science should raise an eyebrow labels those who dare to take a look as “anti-science”? Seriously? I thought the scientific process was based on the continuous asking of questions.
Why aren’t we hearing ANYTHING other than hide in your home, hide your face, wear gloves, wash your hands and stay away from everyone? We all know this isn’t sustainable.
The catch here is that we’re ultimately accountable. Health is an inside job and always has been. It’s up to us.
The only one in control of our health outcomes is ourselves. Nobody can do it for us, it comes from within.
Why is nobody talking about the following?
NPR yesterday morning was literally saying that die, exercise, outlook and thought patterns, supplementation and stress or lack thereof have NO effect on immune system “strength”. Are you kidding me?
WHY AREN’T WE TALKING ABOUT THE THINGS WE DO HAVE CONTROL OVER??
Eating a very clean diet, including superfoods
Taking immune system supporting supplements
Exercising outside everyday
Breath work
Meditation
Nervous system support: In a June 2000 Lancet study, it was found that the immune system and the nervous system are completely interwoven. Chiropractic adjustments support and enhance nervous system function. If the nervous system and immune systems are synonymous, why aren’t we talking about the necessity of chiropractic adjustments? I’m not referring to these facts because I’m a chiropractor. I’m a chiropractor BECAUSE of these facts.
Let’s not forget that the leading causes of death in the US are as follows:
1. Cancer
2. Heart disease
3. Medical errors

Why aren’t these the pandemics we focus on?
I understand that we don’t have all the answers but maybe we need to be asking A LOT more questions.
