✨The beauty of watching a 7 year old heal into his potential! ✨
This correction highlights a sweet 7 years old vibrant, engaging and fun loving boy. He was brought in for care by his mother, who is also an Advantage Chiro practice member. He began care in November 2022, following an injury, where his arm was fractured in two places. His mother was observing that the weight of the cast and the compensation from the injury was creating changes in his posture, where one shoulder was significantly lower and he had had a slumped posture since the time he was a toddler.
He also suffered from allergies and from frequent cold and bouts of the flu, which often led to croup. At the time of this first visit, he also often woke up crying with growing pains in his legs and knees.
In the beginning, this quiet boy was shy and extremely nervous about the idea of anybody touching his spine and for the first visits, he couldn’t bring himself to lay face down on the table due to nervousness and fear.
After doing an examination, we found that he had multiple subluxations and that his distorted posture was having an effect on his body’s ability to adapt to the environment.
His x rays revealed a significant loss and reversal of the normal cervical curve. Over the course of the first few months, his amazing mom consistently brought him in to be adjusted a few times per week and he eventually transitioned to being adjusted once per week.
He used his Deneroll daily and did his exercises consistently.
7 months later, his cervical curvature is completely corrected.
This VIP of a boy barely got sick at all over the winter, he no longer complains of leg pains at
night, his allergies are under control and his slumped posture has given rise to a strong, confident posture.
When he comes in to get adjusted now, he’s talkative, enjoys being adjusted and understands that he has immense potential.
Most impressive, however, is that he has become a star swimmer, winning first place ribbons in multiple highly competitive, out of state swim meets. He continues to compete and continues to outperform his personal records and he just recently broke a competition record for the breast stroke.
He puts a smile on all of our faces every time he comes in AND we can’t wait to watch him continue to succeed so inspiringly.
